1. Who we are

Catamaran Studios builds and hosts websites for local businesses and connects optional online ordering. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with.

2. What we collect

• Business and contact information — your business name, address, phone, email, and the content shown on your site.
• Account information — the email you sign in with and your subscription status.
• Ordering data — when you connect Square or Clover, we access your menu and (where enabled) order data through your own account, using access tokens you grant us. Those tokens are stored encrypted.
• Usage data — basic logs needed to operate and secure the service.

Payment card details are handled by Stripe, Square, and Clover — they are never stored on our servers.

3. How we use it

To build, host, and maintain your website; to sync your menu and (where enabled) process orders; to bill your subscription; to provide support; and to communicate with you about the service.

4. Who we share it with (subprocessors)

We use trusted providers to run the service:

• Square, Clover — ordering integrations (your own accounts).
• Stripe — subscription billing and invoices.
• Supabase, Railway — database and hosting.
• Resend — transactional and outreach email.
• Google — maps and business information.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Cookies

The customer portal uses a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use it for advertising.

6. Security and retention

We protect data with industry-standard measures; ordering access tokens are encrypted at rest. We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, and delete or de-identify it after that.

7. Your choices

You can disconnect an integration from the portal at any time, and you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing us. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link.
